While looking for obscure cheese facts, as I am wont to do since the beginning of this blog, I came across a site for a French farm that claims to specialize in cheese made out of human breast milk. Unfortunately, the good people at Snopes have determined that it is a hoax, which is too bad. Being that this is the internet, however, I was quickly able to find a blog entry in which the writer detailed her attempt to make Paneer (a.k.a. cottage cheese) out of her own breast milk. In the end she found that it's just not possible because breast milk doesn't curdle like cows' milk.
I was pretty disappointed to read her end results as I find the idea of making cheese out of your own milk a fascinating concept. Other people understandably do not share my enthusiasm, my group mate included. What are your thoughts on the matter? Vote in the new poll and feel free to share your two cents.

I suppose this concept falls into the same category as the eating your own placenta. To me it's all just too gross to imagine. In fact, I think I need to go wash my eyes out with bleach to remove the heinous images I now have after reading about this fictitious cheese. Yikes!
The thought of it grosses me out...yet I'm not sure why since we all consume breast milk as children.
I agree with kc. And if it were possible would you be eating your own breast-milk cheese or someone else's? I guess eating someone else's cheese sounds more gross.
I'm not sure what's more hilarious: the concept for the original post, or the horror of all the commenters.
For what it's worth, when my son used to spit up after nursing, my husband and I used to say that it looked (and smelled) just like cheese. So maybe this kind of cheese actually makes itself...
Blech.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
I am the sort of guy who enjoys to seek hot stuff. Currently I am fabricating my personal solar panels. I am making it all by myself without the assistance of my men. I am using the internet as the only path to acheive this. I saw a very awesome site which explains how to contruct pv panels and so on. The website explains all the steps needed for solar panel construction.
I'm not exactly sure bout how precise the data given there is. If some guys over here who had xp with these things can have a look and give your feedback in the page it would be grand and I'd really appreciate it, cauze I truly passion solar panel construction.
Tnx for reading this. U people are the best.
